Tracy Murray

Tracy Lamont Murray (born July 25, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player who works as an analyst with the UCLA Sports Network for all of the games during the UCLA Bruins' basketball season. Tracy is also a part-time analyst on the Slam Dunk Show on ABC7 Los Angeles. He worked as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the 2015–16 NBA season.

Coaching career After expressing an interest in coaching at the collegiate level, Murray served three years (2007–2009) as an assistant coach and player mentor for the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League and one year (2011) as an assistant coach for the Tulsa Shock of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

On October 15, 2015, Murray was hired by the Los Angeles Lakers as an assistant coach/shooting coach. Head coach Byron Scott describes Murray as "one of the purest shooters I’ve ever seen." He also ran a basketball camp at Glendora High School for 15 years.

After his playing career ended, Murray returned to UCLA to graduate and earn his degree in history.

Murray is an avid wrestling fan and frequented many WWE events during his playing days. He is good friends with WWE Hall of Famers Rikishi, the Godfather, and The Undertaker.
