Born 2000. Tom Clayton is a British association football player.
Career Prior to his move to Swindon Town, Clayton played within the Liverpool youth system having joined at under-9 level. He joined Swindon Town in July 2022 and made his professional debut the following month in the 0-0 draw against Salford City.
Clayton missed most of the 2023–24 season with a succession of injuries. He was released by Swindon on the expiry of his contract at the end of that season.
After over a year without a club, Clayton was hired by his former club Liverpool to work as a coach at the club's Academy.
