Tarren Otte

Tarren Otte (born 29 March 1984) is an Australian Olympic synchronized swimmer. She was selected to represent Australia at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in synchronized swimming.

Personal Otte was born on 29 March 1984 in Victoria. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Science, enabling her to teach physical education. She also coaches other synchronized swimmers in Melbourne. The ten person team was the first Australian one to make it in the finals for the synchronised swimming free combination routine. Part of the team's routine included pretending to be emus, kangaroos and crocodiles. Her team came in seventh, During the Games, she had a lucky towel. She was in fifth place with a score of 39.334 following the first part of the competition. and missing bronze by two points. She had been considered a medal contender going into the Games. Following the Commonwealth Games, she briefly retired from the sport. As a twenty-seven-year-old, she was the oldest member of the team.
