Sharon Lee Cripps (born 29 June 1977 in Brisbane,
Athletics career Cripps represented Australia in two Summer Olympics (1996 and 2000) and two Commonwealth Games (1998 and 2002), as well as the 2003 World Championships. She was part of the Australian team that won the gold medal in the women's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1998 Commonwealth Games along with Tania Van Heer, Lauren Hewitt and Nova Peris-Kneebone in a time of 43.39 seconds. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games she made the final of both the 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay, finishing seventh and fourth respectively. In 2003, she was Australia's national champion in the women's 100 and 200 metres.
