Sarona Motlhagodi (17 May 1993 – 5 March 2021), known professionally as Sasa Klaas, was a Motswana rapper, singer, songwriter, and television presenter.

Early life and education Motlhagodi was born in Gaborone, Botswana. She attended Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, where she studied film and television production before pursuing music professionally.

Career

Music She gained recognition through collaborations with local artists, including Scar, before releasing solo material such as HADSAN.

Her work addressed themes including female empowerment and gender-based violence.

Television She worked as a presenter on Botswana-based television programming and later co-hosted a programme on DStv in South Africa.

Death She died on 5 March 2021 from injuries sustained in a helicopter crash in Botswana.
