Biography Roman Shumunov (born 1984 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is an Israeli film and television director and screenwriter, best known for his emotionally powerful and socially engaged works that explore themes of immigration, identity, and memory. His films have been screened internationally and have received multiple awards, including recognition from the Ophir Awards, the Banff World Media Festival and nominations for the International Emmy Awards.
