Career Ri Chong-song won the gold medal in the men's 81kg event at the 2024 World Weightlifting Championships held in Manama, Bahrain, and a gold medal in the men's 81kg event at the 2024 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and 2022 Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China.
