Nuria Morgado

Nuria Morgado is a Spanish academic and professor of Hispanic studies at the College of Staten Island and CUNY Graduate Center. Her work focuses on modern and contemporary Hispanic literature, cultural studies, and the intersections of literature, culture, and philosophy.

Early life and education Nuria Morgado was born in Barcelona. She earned a degree in information sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 1991. She obtained a Ph.D. in Peninsular and Latin American Literature from the University of Arizona.

Career Morgado is a professor of Hispanic studies at the College of Staten Island and City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center.
