About Nungou Yumthangba
Nungou Yumthangba or Nungngou Yumthangba was the founder of the Chenglei (Sarang Leishangthem) clan of the Meitei confederacy. According to the Chengleiron, Nungou Yumthangba had one more brother called Lokton Atonba.
According to the Leithak Leikharol , Pudin, and Leishangthemlon, Nungou Yumthangba's older brother, Lamlekshang, relocated to the hills and made his home there.
