Norton J. Kiritz (1936 - 2006) was an American educator and founder of the Grantsmanship Center.
Early life Born in New York City to a shoe salesman, Kiritz spent his early life in the Bronx and was educated at Bronx High School of Science. After enrolling as a scholarship student in the engineering department at Cornell University, Kiritz lost interest in pursuing an engineering degree there and after relocating to California, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1959 with a degree in psychology.
