Natasha Dennerstein

Natasha Dennerstein is an Australian-born poet and writer. She has authored several poetry collections and a chapbook titled Seahorse in 2017. She has worked as an editor with several literary publications in the United States. Prior to her career as a writer, she worked as a psychiatric nurse.

Early life and education Natasha Dennerstein was born in Melbourne, Australia. She is of Polish–Russian ancestry, and her family migrated from Belarus. She obtained a diploma in creative writing from Whitireia Polytechnic in New Zealand. She completed her Master of Arts from the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University of Wellington. She is the author of several poetry collections including Anatomize (2015), Triptych Caliform (2016), and About a Girl (2017), published by Norfolk Press in San Francisco.

Dennerestin was a 2018 fellow of the Lambda Literary Writers Retreat. and trans identity.
