Munzareen Shahid

Munzereen Shahid is a Bangladeshi educator, author and online content creator. She is known for producing online lessons intended to help Bengali-speaking learners study spoken English and for her work with the Bangladeshi education platform 10 Minute School.

Shahid began producing English-learning videos during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, The Daily Star reported that she had received a YouTube Silver Creator Award after her channel exceeded 100,000 subscribers. A 2022 profile published by Prothom Alo described her as a former Oxford student and identified her field of study as Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition.

Career

Shahid became associated with 10 Minute School while studying at university. She initially wrote blog posts for the platform and later worked in its social media and human-resources operations.

Writing

Shahid is the author of books intended for Bengali-speaking learners of English. Her book Ghore Boshe Spoken English was published in 2020 and was accompanied by an online course on spoken English.
