Career Born in Metz, Traoré played youth football for Nancy. Apart from two loan stints at Ajaccio and Le Havre, he spent all of his career with Valenciennes.

Personal life Traoré also holds Senegalese nationality. His brothers Dame and Mamadou are also footballers.
