Lived 1930 – 2020 (aged 90). Ming Cho Lee was a Chinese and American theatre designer and set designer.
Awards and honors Lee was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1998.
He was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 2002.
In 1995, he won the Obie Award for Sustained Excellence for his consistent and valuable contributions to the theatrical community.
He won the Tony Award in 1983 for the play K2.
Lee was awarded a lifetime achievement Tony Award in 2013.
