Matthew L. Forister (born June 19, 1974) is an American evolutionary ecologist and entomologist known for his research on butterflies, plant–insect interactions, and insect population decline. He is a Foundation Professor and the Trevor J. McMinn Endowed Research Professor of Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno.
