Mark Howden

Stuart Mark Howden (commonly known as Mark Howden) is an Australian environmental scientist, whose research has focussed on climate change, agriculture, and adaptation. He is vice-chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), was director of the Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions at the Australian National University until 2025, chair of the ACT Climate Change Council, and he is an honorary professor at the University of Melbourne.
