Born 1940. Marianne Bastid-Bruguière is a French sinologist, historian and university teacher.

Marianne Bastid-Bruguière (; born 13 November 1940 ) is a French sinologist. She is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Langues et Civilisations Orientales and Peking University. From 1969, she worked for the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. From 1992 to 1996, she was President of the Association Européenne d'Etudes Chinoises.
