Margaret Jane Davies is an Australian legal scholar. She is Matthew Flinders Distinguished Professor of Law at Flinders University, and is a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy.
Biography In the 1980s, Davies studied at University of Adelaide, where she obtained her BA in English and LLB (both 1st Class Honours). She authored Asking the Law Question, a legal theory textbook which had its fifth edition in 2023. She is also a fellow of the Australian Academy of Law.
