Lawrence Anthony Smith Jr. (born August 16, 1979) is an American former professional football offensive lineman who played for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee State Tigers.
Early life Lawrence Anthony Smith Jr. was born on August 16, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was waived on August 30 and signed to the team's practice squad on September 3. Smith was waived by Baltimore on August 30, 2003, and signed to the Raven's practice squad on September 2, 2003, where he spent the entire 2003 NFL season. On August 18, 2004, it was reported that Smith had been promoted to starting left guard. He played in all 16 games, starting eight, as an offensive guard during the 2004 season. He was waived/injured on August 10, 2005, and reverted to injured reserve the next day. Smith spent the entire 2005 season on injured reserve and became a free agent afterwards.
