Judith Clarke (24 August 1943 – 14 May 2020) was an Australian best-selling author of short stories for children and young adults.

Life Clarke was born on 24 August 1943 and raised in Sydney. She worked as a teacher, lecturer and librarian. She graduated from the University of New South Wales, and Australian National University.
