Jonathan Edward Olinger (born August 24, 1980) is an American former football wide receiver. He played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats, and was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL draft.

Early life Jonathan Edward Olinger was born on August 24, 1980, in Hazard, Kentucky. His 1,114 yards led Conference USA and set Cincinnati's single-season record. He also tied the school's single-game receptions record with 13 catches against the Miami RedHawks on October 5, 2002.

Professional career Olinger was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round, with the 159th overall pick, of the 2003 NFL draft. The Atlanta Constitution said that Olinger was a "nice target at 6 feet 3, with decent speed and a knack for snatching the clutch bomb". On June 18, he signed a three-year deal worth over $1 million with a $110,000 signing bonus. On August 4, he was listed as the third-string "Z" receiver behind Brian Finneran and MarTay Jenkins.
