Born 1967. Jit Bose is a Canadian computer scientist, mathematician and university teacher.
Prosenjit K. "Jit" Bose is a Canadian mathematician and computer scientist who works at Carleton University as a professor in the School of Computer Science and associate vice-president (research) at Carleton University. His research concerns graph algorithms and computational geometry, including work on geometric spanners and geographic routing in wireless ad hoc networks.
Education Bose did his undergraduate studies in mathematics at the University of Waterloo, graduating in 1990, and earned a master's degree from Waterloo in 1991. After postdoctoral studies at the University of British Columbia, he became an assistant professor at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 1995, and moved to Carleton in 1997.
