James Greenock (5 April 1930 – April 2005) was a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a left half for Queen of the South.
Career Jimmy Greenock was born in Motherwell and was originally a Motherwell supporter.
During his career he played predominantly as left half before joining the Doonhamers in July 1951.
Greenock played for Queens for eight seasons in the First Division from 1951 to 1959 Following his release he emigrated to the USA and joined American soccer club the Falcons S.C., based in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Death Greenock died following a long illness and was buried on 18 April 2005 just 13 days after his 75th birthday.
