Jim Scott Burton (October 27, 1949 – December 12, 2013) was an American middle relief pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox in the 1975 and 1977 seasons. Listed at , , Burton batted right-handed and threw left-handed. He was born in Royal Oak, Michigan.
In a two-season career, Burton posted a 1–2 record with a 2.75 ERA and one save in 30 games pitched. He played 29 games in the 1975 season, with 53 innings pitched and a 2.89 ERA, but only pitched 2.2 innings in a 1977 game.
Death Burton died in December 2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the age of 64.
