Jihae

Jihae Kim (; born February 7, 1975, or 1984 ), better known by the mononym Jihae, is a Korean-American singer/songwriter, actress and model. She debuted as a singer in 2007 and has since released four full-length albums. As an actress, she has appeared in the miniseries Mars, the film Mortal Engines (2018), the Netflix series Altered Carbon

Early life Jihae was born in Seoul, South Korea.

Career Jihae began her career as a model, appearing in ads for the women's clothing brand Eileen Fisher. Jihae released her second album, Elvis is Still Alive, in 2008. She released her fourth album, Illusion of You, in 2015. She co-produced the album with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, as well as Stuart Matthewman and Jean-Luc Sinclair. The album includes a song cowritten by Leonard Cohen.

Jihae had her first major acting role in 2015, when she played twin sisters Joon and Hana Seung in the National Geographic miniseries Mars.
