Jared Clauss (born April 7, 1981) is an American former professional football defensive tackle. He was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL draft. He played college football at Iowa.
Early life Clauss attended Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.
College career Clauss played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2000 to 2003, starting 26 career games.
Professional career Clauss was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round, with the 230th overall pick, of the 2004 NFL draft. He officially signed with the team on July 23, 2004.
Clauss signed a reserve/future contract with the Washington Redskins on January 4, 2007.
