Han Park was an American.
Han Park is a scholar of global peace and North Korea–United States relations. He is a Professor Emeritus of International Affairs at the University of Georgia. He received a B.A. in political science from Seoul National University, an M.A. in political science from American University, and a PhD in political science from the University of Minnesota. In 2013, he wrote an opinion piece for the Athens Banner-Herald about the role of the United States in peacemaking during the 2012–2013 escalation of the Syrian civil war.
