Gu Yasha

Gu Yasha (; born 28 November 1990) is a Chinese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Career

She starts playing football in 2001, representing Henan at the Beibei Cup. At the beginning of 2002, she joined Beijing Chaoyang District Football School.

On 28 May 2015, Gu was called up to the China squad for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.

On 7 July 2016, Gu was called up to the China squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

On 29 March 2018, Gu was called up to the China squad for the 2018 AFC Women's Asian Cup.

On 27 May 2019, Gu was called up to the China squad for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.

On 5 July 2023, Gu was called up to the China squad for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Gu Yasha officially retired from the national team on June 3, 2026. She received a special ceremony before an international friendly match against Russia in Wuhan, China.
