Fathollah Moztarzadeh

Biography Moztarzadeh was born on December 1, 1946, in Yazd, Iran. He completed his early education in his hometown before traveling to Germany in 1965 to pursue higher studies. He obtained a bachelor's degree in materials science in 1968 and a master's degree in 1971 from Clausthal University of Technology. He continued his education at the same institution and received a Ph.D. in materials science in 1975.

Following his studies, he returned to Iran in 1976 and began his academic career as a faculty member. Over the years, he held several positions in Iranian higher education and research institutions. He served as the president of Gilan University from 1979 to 1981 and also the Materials and Energy Research Center from 1983 to 2006.
