Masuge's first regional competition was the 2016 Region 5 Games in Angola, where teammates including Karabo Sibanda gave him the nickname "Tiger". The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) defines this classification as "From visual acuity above 2/60 to visual acuity of 6/60 and/or visual field of more than 5 degrees and less than 20 degrees."

Career

Summer Paralympics At the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan, Masuge represented Botswana and competed in the men's 400 metres T13 event. Masuge qualified for the final after finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 50.13 seconds.

At the 2024 Summer Paralympics held in Paris, France, Masuge represented Botswana and competed in the men's 400 metres T13 event.

World Para Athletics Championships At the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Masuge represented Botswana and competed in the men's 400 metres T12 event. He advanced from his heat with a personal best time of 52.30 seconds. Masuge qualified for the final after finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 50.50 seconds.

At the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships held in Kobe, Japan, Masuge represented Botswana and competed in the men's 400 metres T13 event. In the final he finished with a time of 50.57 seconds, ranking 5th overall in the competition.

Other events Masuge won a silver medal in the 100 and 400 metres T13 category and a bronze in the 200 metres events during the 2015 Botswana Games in Francistown, Botswana; During the 2021 Toyota National Championships in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Masuge secured a gold medal by winning the 200 metres T12 race. Masuge is a beneficiary of Betway's Delta Bay (Pty) Ltd.
