Doyle Eugene Larson (October 2, 1930 – August 13, 2007) was a United States Air Force major general. He was the first commander of the Electronic Security Command, a major command with headquarters at Kelly Air Force Base, Texas. The command was formed in August 1979 from the United States Air Force Security Service and other Air Force assets.
Biography Doyle E. Larson was born on October 2, 1930, in Madelia, Minnesota. He graduated from Madelia High School in 1948 and then attended Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota.
In 1982, Larson was presented the Order of the Sword, an award for which Air Force non-commissioned officers honor leaders who have made significant contributions to the enlisted corps. In 2004, the Air Force Association named Larson its National Member of the Year.
