About Doris Fuchs

Born 1938. Doris Fuchs is an American artistic gymnast.

Doris Gudrun Fuchs (later Brause, born June 11, 1938) is a retired American gymnast who won four gold medals at the 1963 Pan American Games.

Biography Doris Fuchs was born in Villingen im Schwarzwald, Baden-Württemberg in 1938. She and her family came to the United States in 1951 when she was 12, living in Greece, New York near Rochester. Fuchs attended the 1964 Olympics as a reserve. In 1982 she was inducted into the U.S. Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
