Donny Crown

Ishola Abdul Rasaq Adedoyin (born 30 April 1993), professionally known as Donny Crown, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music executive.

Early life and education

Ishola Abdul Rasaq Adedoyin was born on 30 April 1993, In Ibadan, he originally hails from Lagelu Local Government Area of Oyo State, Nigeria. He attended Fountain International School for his secondary education before studying applied mathematics at Adekunle Ajasin University, in Ondo State, where he obtained a bachelor's degree.

Career

Donny Crown began his music career professionally in 2012. In 2022, he appeared on the collaborative single "Feeling Good" by M.E.D.E, with Lissy Bee and Shola Tyson. In 2022, he founded MEDE, an entertainment and media company.

In September 2023, he released his breakthrough single "Money for Hand", featuring Mohbad. In January 2024, he released his first single for the year "Grace", featuring Bad Boy Timz.

In 2025, Donny Crown released the single "Freaky", featuring Nigerian singer Milez Halo. The song incorporates elements of Afrobeat and Amapiano.

In 2026, Donny Crown released two singles, "Gimme Life" and "God Abeg", through Most Exclusive Doings Entertainment. Both songs were released on 26 June 2026. The lead single, “Gimme Life”, features Nigerian singer and songwriter Skales.

On 25 July 2026, Donny Crown received the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award at the 6th edition of the Eko Heritage Awards.
