Diego Morejón

Diego Morejón is the former Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the United Nations, a position he served from September 2008 to February 2014. He joined Ecuador's diplomatic service in 1979 and has held a number of diplomatic posts throughout his career. He studied at the Central University of Ecuador, where he earned degrees in social sciences and law. In addition to Spanish, he speaks English and German. He served as Ecuador's ambassador to Germany from 2016 to 2017 and was appointed to the post again in 2023.
