Dawn Oliver

Dawn Oliver KC (Hon) FBA (born 7 June 1942) is a British legal scholar and barrister specialising in constitutional law, administrative law and law and politics. She was Professor of Constitutional Law at University College London from 1993 to 2008 and is now Emeritus Professor.

Early life Ann Dawn Harrison Oliver was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge, where she graduated BA in 1964 and MA in 1967, and was awarded a PhD in 1993. She was awarded an LLD by the University of Cambridge in 2011. and appointed honorary Queen's Counsel in 2012, later becoming honorary King's Counsel.

She was elected a Bencher of the Middle Temple in 1996 and served as Treasurer in 2011.
