About David Kinsman
Lieutenant-General David Nevill Kinsman CMM, CD (born 1945/1946) is a Canadian retired air force general who was Chief of the Air Staff in Canada from 1997 to 2000.
Career Educated at Acadia University, Kinsman joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1963 and trained as a fighter pilot. He flew CF-101 Voodoos with 416 Tactical Fighter Squadron and with 425 Tactical Fighter Squadron. before becoming Chief of the Air Staff in 1997 and retiring in 2000.
