Daryl Tyrone Wren (born January 25, 1967) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive back for two seasons with the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 1991 NFL draft after playing college football at Pittsburg State University.
Early life Daryl Tyrone Wren was born on January 25, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Will Rogers High School in Tulsa.
Professional career Wren was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round, with the 82nd overall pick, of the 1991 NFL draft. He officially signed with the team on July 13. He was waived on August 30, 1993. He later appeared in eight games for the Patriots in 1995, posting one solo tackle. He became a free agent after the season.
