Christos Tzolis

Christos Tzolis (; born 30 January 2002) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a left winger for club Arsenal and the Greece national team.

Tzolis began his professional career playing for PAOK before joining Premier League side Norwich City in 2021. After two seasons in England and a loan spell at Twente, Tzolis joined 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan, where he finished the season as the league's joint-top scorer with 22 goals.

In July 2024, Tzolis joined Belgian side Club Brugge for a reported €6 million. He helped the club win the Belgian Pro League title in the 2025–26 season, scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists in all competitions, while being named Belgian Pro League Player of the Season. In 2026, Tzolis joined Arsenal for a reported £34 million.

Club career PAOK

On 25 August 2020, Tzolis scored a brace for 2020–21 UEFA Champions League qualifying phase and play-off round against Beşiktaş. Tzolis also added an assist for Dimitrios Pelkas. On 11 September 2020, he scored the only goal against AEL in the 2020–21 season opener, named MVP of the game. On 17 September 2020, Tzolis renew his contract with the club until 2024 without a buy out clause. On 5 November 2020, he scored in a 4–1 home win 2020–21 UEFA Europa League group stage game against PSV Eindhoven helping PAOK to increase the possibility of qualifying for the next phase of the UEFA Europa League.

Norwich City On 12 August 2021, Tzolis left PAOK to join Premier League club Norwich City on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He made an impressive debut for the Canaries on 24 August, as he scored a brace and assisted a further two goals, to help his team seal an emphatic 6–0 win over Bournemouth and progress to the third round of the EFL Cup. Following his impressive performance, manager Daniel Farke praised him as one of Europe's top prospects for his age, highlighting his pace, goal-scoring ability, and potential.

On 22 July 2022, Tzolis joined Twente in the Netherlands on a season-long loan. He returned from his loan spell on 31 January 2023, after a mutual agreement was reached to cut short his loan spell. During his time at Twente, the left winger scored three goals in 15 appearances. On 6 August 2023, Tzolis moved to 2. Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf on a one-year loan, with an option to buy. During the 2023–24 season, he finished as one of the league's top scorers with 22 goals, alongside Robert Glatzel and Haris Tabaković. On 30 May 2024, Fortuna Düsseldorf exercised their buy option.

Club Brugge On 1 July 2024, Tzolis signed a four-year contract with the Belgian side Club Brugge, for a reported transfer fee of €6 million. He won his first title at the club by achieving the 2024–25 Belgian Cup.

In the 2025–26 season, Tzolis helped Club Brugge win the league title, scoring 23 goals and providing 29 assists in all competitions, while being named Belgian Pro League Player of the Season.

Arsenal On 23 July 2026, Arsenal confirmed the signing of Tzolis on a long-term contract, for a reported transfer fee of £34 million. A month later, on 16 August, he provided two assists on his debut in a 3–0 win over Manchester City in the FA Community Shield, becoming the first player to achieve this feat in the competition since David Beckham in 1996.

International career Tzolis has represented Greece at the under-17 level and under-19 level. At the under-17 level, he appeared in 9 matches and scored 6 goals. On 7 October 2020, Tzolis made his debut for the senior national team in a 2–1 loss to Austria after being substituted on in the 82nd minute for Dimitrios Limnios. At the time of his debut, Tzolis became the 7th youngest player in the history of the Greece national team. On 11 November 2020, Tzolis scored his first international goal in a 2–1 victory against Cyprus.

Personal life His parents, who are from Dhrovjan, Vlorë County belong to the Greek minority in Albania.
