Burak Bulut

Burak Bulut (born 26 September 1996) is a Turkish pop singer and songwriter. He gained national recognition in the early 2020s through his musical collaborations with Kurtuluş Kuş. Bulut is the recipient of a Golden Butterfly Award and was the subject of the 2022 biographical film Sevmedim Deme.

Early life Burak Bulut was born on 26 September 1996 in Elazığ, Turkey.

Career Bulut began releasing music professionally in 2020. He achieved a mainstream breakthrough in 2021 with the release of the single "Sevmedim Deme", performed as a duet with Kurtuluş Kuş. The commercial success of the track established the duo in the Turkish pop music industry. Following this, they released collaborative singles such as "Nabız", "Baba Yak", and "Leyla Mecnun" (featuring Mustafa Ceceli).

In December 2021, Bulut and Kuş won the "Best Newcomer" (En İyi Çıkış Yapan) award at the 47th Golden Butterfly Awards, one of the most prominent entertainment awards in Turkey. Their music frequently ranked among the most listened-to tracks on Turkish digital streaming platforms such as fizy during the summer of 2021.

In 2022, the rapid rise to fame of Bulut and Kuş was adapted into a biographical feature film. Titled Sevmedim Deme after their breakout single, the film was directed by Burak Kuka and released in Turkish cinemas on 14 October 2022. Bulut and Kuş starred as themselves in the film, acting alongside cast members including Ceyda Ateş, Şebnem Sönmez, and Rıza Akın.

Personal life Bulut married Turkish singer and internet personality Eda Sakız. However, the couple divorced after nine months of marriage.
