John Robert Forrest (13 May 1931 – 3 May 2005) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward. He played in the Football League for Leeds United and Notts County.
Career Born in Rossington, After leaving Weymouth, he joined Dorchester Town as player-manager where he remained until his retirement in 1970.
Personal life Following his retirement, he ran a guest house in Weymouth, where former team-mate and England international Jack Charlton would regularly stay.
He died on 3 May 2005, in Weymouth, after having suffered a stroke a few days earlier.
