Bijaya Ratnabali

Bijaya Ratnabali Barua is a Bangladeshi costume designer and production designer known for her work in Bangladeshi cinema and streaming productions. She has worked on films including Surongo, Saba, Master, and Pressure Cooker, Suraiya as well as the streaming title Forget Me Not.

Her work has received recognition at the Blenders Choice–The Daily Star OTT & Digital Content Awards and the Chorki Awards.

Career

Barua began her career in Bangladesh's film industry as a costume designer before expanding into production design.

Barua also worked as costume designer on Forget Me Not directed by Robiul Alam Robi. Barua subsequently worked on Rezwan Shahriar Sumit's Master, a feature film selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in 2026. She is also credited as costume designer for the Raihan Rafi's 2026 feature film Pressure Cooker, released in Eid al-Fitr 2026.
