Anne Haddy

Patricia Anne Haddy (5 October 1930 – 6 June 1999) was an Australian actress, television presenter and voice artist who worked in various facets of the industry including radio, stage and television. She was married to actor and scriptwriter James Condon. in Quorn, South Australia, the only child of Allan Ross Haddy and Mona Lowas (née Graham). Intent on becoming an actress from a young age, her parents gave her the complete works of Shakespeare for her fifteenth birthday. through to 1953 with Cocteau's The Typewriter. She also appeared in the Adelaide Repertory Theatre's production of Claudia.

Television and film Haddy became one of the first presenters of Play School. Her marriage ended in divorce in 1971. The couple moved from Sydney to Melbourne for Haddy's part in Neighbours.
