Anicia Berton

Anicia Berton (1975 or 1976 – 21 July 2026), nicknamed Az Fanm Djok, According to Rosalie Gaschet, president of , her blood cancer was allegedly caused by widely sold defective breast implants manufactured by Poly Implant Prothèse placed after a mastectomy due to her breast cancer. According to Gaschet, Berton was never contacted to have them removed.

In January 2021, she organized a demonstration in front of the Ministry of the Overseas headquarters in Paris after the dismissal of a criminal case regarding the usage of chlordecone. thumb Berton campaigned for the official recognition of the red, green, and black flag of Martinique, which was adopted in 2023.
