Biography
Education Brash was educated at Strathallan School near Perth, Scotland and Downing College, Cambridge, where he was elected a scholar. He graduated with a BA in medical sciences in 1970 and proceeded to the University of Edinburgh to study for his PhD, graduating in 1976. Brash was then appointed a research fellow in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London.
In October 2013 he was elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
