Biography Ai Kidosaki was born on 1 July 1925 in Kobe and was educated at the Tokyo Kasei-Gakuin University cooking school and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, She won the 2007 .
In a 2004 interview with the s-woman.net website conducted after the publication of her essay Senka to Donuts to Ai, which she co-authored with Ryōko Yui, she stated that she wanted to encourage the youth to value their own lives instead of going to war. She died at the age of 94 of acute heart failure in a Tokyo Metropolis hospital on 13 February 2020.
