Alexander Theodore Brand (1852 – 23 June 1934) was a British physician and cancer researcher.
Brand was born in Chicago of Scottish parentage. He graduated M.B, C.M. with honours from Aberdeen University in 1881. He started medical practice in Driffield in 1882 and obtained his M.D. in 1884. He authored the book Cancer: Its Cause, Treatment and Prevention, in 1922 and often debated the origin of cancer with other physicians who disputed his theory in the British Medical Journal.
